Aim of the project: The aim of the project MISTRAL is the implementation and performance analysis of the UB-Tree access structure. Teijin-UB/II is a subproject of MISTRAL and is the continuation of Teijin-UB. This project is carried out by the Bavarian Research Center for Knowledge Based Systems in cooperation with Teijin SRDI. The project consists of the following project phases:

• Tetris algorithm and TPC-D benchmark.
• UB-Tree secondary indexes and functions for data-warehousing.
• Relational algebra and nearest neighbor searches with UB-Trees.
