Aim of the project: In the project Microsoft-UB, test suites that have already been performed with Business Warehouse Data as well as GfK data are repeated in the Microsoft environment. In order to achieve that the UB/API is ported to Windows NT and SQL Server 7.0. Goal of the project is to test the performance in this environment against pre-computed joins and aggregates. Microsoft-UB is a subproject of MISTRAL. This project is carried out by the Bavarian Research Center for Knowledge Based Systems in cooperation with Microsoft-UB.
